Our latest giveaway had our followers submit their dream furniture or home décor. Three lucky winners would be able to get their dream made for only the cost of materials. Follow us along as we make each of their dreams come true!
Our first winner wanted a table and bench set. After getting a general idea of what our client wanted I sketched out a rough draft.
Then after her approval I went for what was probably my biggest wood haul yet. I had to go through almost all of Home Depot’s supply of 2” x 6” x 16” wood checking for any bowing, twisting, or other imperfections. Once I was sure all the wood was in great condition I was able to cut it down and load up my truck.
Step 1: Cut, plane, and sand all the wood for the table top. Then I glued and clamped the pieces together.
Step 2: Repeat step 1 for all the bottom pieces on benches and table. Then assemble.
Step 3: Repeat step 1 for the bench tops. Then attach all the tops to their bottom halves. Check back latter to see my progress! We have 10 days left till delivery!
