Our newest shop addition
We recently purchased a laser attachment for our CNC and the learning curve has been a steep one. The laser is able to do much more intricate designs than the CNC with a much smoother finish and without the risk of chipping the out layer of wood. It also seals the edges to allow for easier painting. I was surprised to find how little information there was about trouble shooting, not only this laser, but most lasers on the market. With Google and YouTube there tend to me an overabundance of information, but in this area it is severely lacking. We broke it 2 times and even after getting it fixed by the company twice we still haven’t worked out why it isn’t cutting all the way through. Despite the laser’s company having amazing customer service we all seem stumped at the moment. That wouldn’t stop us though! Our newest collection of DIY projects got us our biggest order yet of 50 items. We had to put some blood, sweat and tears (and let’s be honest - lots and lots of failure cuts) to get it done it time, but we pulled through.
